What information do we collect about you?
We collect information from you when either setting up an account or placing an order to provide a service. No information is taken without your consent. Information includes:

- Vehicle Registration
We also collect information when you voluntarily give customer feedback.
How will we process and use the information about you?
Scrap Metal – Personal information gets used to make payments to customers. We also take a copy of your identification to comply with the Scrap Metal Dealers Act.
New Era Assets Ltd will not share your information for marketing purposes with any third-party companies.
Access to your information and correction
You have a right to request a copy of the information we hold about you at any time. We aim to keep accurate and up-to-date records of your personal information.
Lawful basis for processing
When processing personal information our lawful basis to do so is a legal obligation, in order to comply with the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013.
Communication and complaints
New Era Assets Ltd keeps all details of its accounts for a minimum of 6 years under the regulations of HMRC. Scrap metal tickets are kept for a minimum of 3 years to comply with the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013.
Employee contracts and details are kept for as long as New Era Assets Ltd has a business purpose.
New Era has a complaints procedure (NER067) in place, a copy can be provided on request. If after following this procedure you are still unhappy you have the right to complain to the ICO (Information Commissioners Office)-
